So I had to make a doc on something for uni. I chose to do one on 'consumed girls' I wrote the theme tune, sang the theme tune and directed and styled the video.

What Kate Middleton Wouldn't do...

Recently I have helped my friend complete some work for her university project: within the context of moving image, create a 30 second fashion promotion for POP magazine. With the theme being, 'What Kate Middleton Wouldn't do', it didn't take much thought as to what I had to do, the answer was obvious... (Put a stop to fox hunting?!)

Low cut, smoke waterfalls, ring off sexed up Heroin Chic (but wouldn't we love to see it).

 When it comes down to it, what wouldn't Kate Middleton do? We've seen pictures of her at an 80's themed roller disco, modeling in some mesh concoction for her friends label and pushing a trolley - a genuine real-person princess! However, there are still some things that takes effort to imagine. I certainly can't picture her watching Alvin and The Chipmunk's The Movie or ever getting a hangover, or both at the same time in fact; in a Primarni onesie. Oh yeah, that too. (I'm not doing that right now, that's just what I thought up. So imaginative, me.) To be honest, I always find it very difficult to imagine any member or the royal family doing normal things daily. Do they? Do they ever get together and watch a film? Do they make themselves a cup of coffee? Do they have Ipods? 

Procrastination

I wanted to see what my hair would look like if I had it cut shorter so I photoshopped my face onto Fearne Cotton, as her hair is always perfect. I got a bit carried away and ended up with a few edited versions of the same picture...

So here's the first one, me on Fearne. Sounds slightly wrong...

Here's the second... Changed the hue, exposure and saturation, decided to make it look like I was wearing a dress/top made of my eyes...

And just kept changing the lighting...

And added a cheeky filter...
